Kristi began practicing family law in 1994 after graduating with honors of the University of Minnesota Law School. She practiced for many years with one of the top family practice firms in the state. In 1998 she was named in the very first class of Rising Stars of Minnesota Law by Minnesota Law and Politics. She recently started her own practice in St. Paul.
Wanting to explore less litigious ways to resolve family law issues, Kristi received training in collaborative divorce, mediation, parenting time expediting and social and financial early neutral evaluation. She is a qualified neutral under Minnesota Supreme Court Rule 114. Kristi is passionate about helping people navigate the difficult waters of divorce and helping them get to the other side with dignity and a sense of peace. Kristi accepts a limited number of clients to insure each client receives the time and attention he or she deserves.
In 2008, Kristi added a coaching element to her practice. She is a certified life coach and graduate of the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara. Kristi combines her experience as a family law attorney and trained life coach to help individuals transition through divorce.
Kristi is a member of:
• The Minnesota State Bar Association, and its Family Law and ADR sections
• The Hennepin County Bar Association
• The Ramsey County Bar Association
• The Collaborative Law Institute
